Dave Hackett. The man. The myth. The legend.

Legendary skater Dave Hackett joins the RaTTown crew as an honorary member!

Early on

Beginning his skate career in Southern California, Hackett was instantly recognized as one of the raddest, most innovative skaters in the earliest days of vertical skateboarding! Skating with the Dogtown crew, Hackett rose to prominence with photos in Skateboarder and ultimately amassing dozens of Cover Pics on all of the skateboarding magazines.

Current

Now living on the East Coast, Hackett continues to shred different terrain, proving he is truly a skater for all ages! Surfing regularly, whether it is being pulled behind the boat or charging all kinds of surf, Dave is as much a waterman as a skater! Visiting North Florida on a regular basis, Hackett is always a welcome sight around the Jacksonville Beach area! Also, Hackett won the first East vs West coast Bowl Riders cup at Kona in 1978!!! And the Oldest Pro skater to do the Loop of Death!!!

Along with Jay Adams (center), Bob Biniak and Shogo Kubo, Dave Hackett is the only other Southern Californian to be included in the RaTTown crew!

Other than in Southern Cal, RaTTown is likely the only place place you’ll ever find THIS group of legends in the same room!
